East Bradford Dental Performs Cosmetic Botox Treatments for Both Men and Women in Office in West Chester, Pa

What Are Botox Injections?

Botox (onabotulinumtoxinA) is a medication that is injected into the muscles of the brow to smooth frown lines between the brows and crow’s feet. In fact, Botox is the only approved treatment to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines and crow’s feet lines. It can help you to look younger, calmer, and more alert.

What Is Botox Used For?

While BOTOX was originally intended to be purely cosmetic and is considered one of the best ways to remove forehead wrinkles, it can also be used to treat different eye problems, muscle stiffness/spasms or movement disorders, reduce migraine discomfort, treat TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorders, and lessen excessive sweating.

What Is Involved?

Botox involves no incisions, stitches, or surgery so you can resume your daily routine directly following your appointment. This also means that your treatment will be comfortable and fast. Our team will simply inject the medication into the muscles. We may use ice or a topical numbing cream before the treatment to ensure that you feel completely comfortable.

How Long Should Botox Last?

You may begin noticing results as soon as 24 to 48 hours after the treatment, and your Botox results can last up to four months. As muscle action gradually returns, lines and wrinkles slowly reappear and will need to be treated again.

How Much Does Botox Cost?

Botox is sold by the “area” (lines between the brows, forehead, or crows feet) or unit and prices can vary. If you feel Botox is right for you, contact our office (610-429-2945) to discuss pricing. We will gladly present options so can you receive the treatment you want at a price that is right for you.
